Student Veterans of America (SVA) Google Scholarship

Student Veterans of America and Google recognize that student Veterans have the skills and passion to succeed in the computer science and technology fields. They would like to help you achieve your goals by offering eight $10,000 scholarships to students enrolled in a computer science, computer engineering, or related technical program.

Competitive candidates will demonstrate a commitment to, and passion for, computer science and technology; possess a record of high academic achievement ; and be proven leaders in their community. 

All applicants must be:  

Entering their junior year or senior year of undergraduate study, or be enrolled in a graduate program for the 2013-2014 academic year

Attending full-time at an accredited four-year university in the United States for the 2013-2014 academic year (if graduating in December, the award will be half the amount)

Enrolled in a Computer Science or Computer Engineering program, or a closely related technical field

In good academic standing with a minimum GPA of 3.0

A current student Veteran, as proven by a DD-214 and transcript 

Honorably discharged, or in good standing with his/her branch of service
